如何做武汉煮鸡?
Ingredients:
- 1 kg chicken, cut into 1.5 kg pieces
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 tsp dried chili peppers (optional)
- 1 tsp dried shrimp powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp starch
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions:
- In a large pot, bring 200 ml water to a boil. Add the chicken and cook for 15 minutes, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Drain the chicken and add it to a large bowl. Add the light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, salt, black pepper, cooking oil, onion, garlic, ginger, dried chili peppers, and shrimp powder (if using).
- Add the starch to a separate bowl and stir until dissolved. Add the starch mixture to the chicken mixture and stir well.
- Serve hot with rice.
Tips:
- For a richer flavor, marinate the chicken in a mixture of water, light soy sauce, and dark soy sauce for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
- You can adjust the amount of chili peppers and shrimp powder to your taste.
- Serve with a side of steamed vegetables, such as broccoli or carrots.
